A. Chelsea Gallery is a virtual gallery of art and photography offering fine prints suitable for framing. ChelseaGallery.ca has a traditional gallery located near Old Chelsea, Quebec, Canada, 15 minutes from central Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, our nation’s capital.
Q. How do I order a print online?
A. Select the print and size you wish to order. When ready to purchase click on the Add-to-Cart button which will bring you to the secure PayPal payment checkout. Follow PayPal’s instructions. Your payment information is handled by PayPal - ChelseaGallery.ca never has access to your financial information! Once an order is received your print is prepared and delivered to your location, as specified. You will receive an e-mail confirming your order from PayPal and an e-mail once your order has been shipped.

Q. What is your Privacy Policy? How do you protect the privacy of the information I submit to you?
A. Your contact information is confidential and treated as such. You may choose to receive Newsletters from Harry Nowell Photography, Inc. or Chelsea Gallery but we do not sell, share or divulge your personal information, including your email address, with other companies.
We use PayPal to manage all the financial transactions on the site. Paypal is the industry standard and uses leading security and fraud prevention systems. Your financial information is shared only with PayPal. Once you’ve completed the simple, online payment process, you will be e-mailed a receipt confirming your order.
If you prefer to shop the ‘old-fashioned’ way, feel free to contact us to arrange payment.
We do not sell, share or divulge your personal information, including your email address, with other companies.
Q. What is your return policy for online purchases?
A. Satisfaction Guaranteed. If a print does not meet your expectations please contact us. If we cannot satisfy your needs please return the print and receipt. Once received we will return your print payment and shipping fees.
Q. What currency is used in your prices?
A. Canadian Dollars are used. Check the Universal Currency Converter for approximate curency exchange rates.
Q. Will the print I receive exactly match the colours on my computer screen?
A. A good question! Every computer and monitor can be calibrated differently. The actual print will be produced beautifully but may be slightly different from what you see on your screen. Think of your screen as a preview, not necessarily an exact likeness of the final print’s hues and tones.
Q. With what media are your prints produced?
A. The work is currently printed on an Epson 9800 using k3 Ultrachrome inks by a single person, Dave Andrews, at Headshots Rentals in Ottawa. Papers include Lustre 260, Somerset Velvet as well as traditional canvas.

Q. What about shipping costs, times, and any taxes that are applied to my order?
A. Standard shipping within Canada is $10. US - $15. International - $20 via Canada Post standard airmail service. Your prints will be mailed in a large cardboard tube for protection.
Special expedited shipping requests may be accommodated at an additional expense.
Each print is prepared and inspected individually! Once your order is received it may take two to three weeks before shipping your order.
Quebec sales tax (7.5% of the price including GST) must be paid on orders within Quebec and and GST (6%) must be charged on orders within Canada.
Q. Where can I see the actual prints?
A. Select prints are displayed at Chelsea Gallery, one kilometre (0.6 miles or 1000 yards) from the village of Old Chelsea, Quebec. Old Chelsea is 15km (9.3 miles or 16,000 yards) north of central Ottawa, Ontario via Highway 5. We are a very short drive from the centre of Canada’s capital.

You may visit the studio by chance or appointment. Please let us know if you would like to tour the gallery. Old Chelsea has many interesting shops, fine food and another art gallery!

Q. Do you offer a framing sevice?
A. No. However, some prints in Chelsea Gallery’s Old Chelsea location are framed, simply, ready for purchase. Through ChelseaGallery.ca we sell and ship unframed prints worldwide. We do not regularly frame prints for online visitors or ship framed prints. We can advise you on size and style of frames and mattes. We can suggest some local framing shops. In an “emergency” situation we can arrange framing but we recommend you frame your new print once it arrives.
