The Photo Story:

Marco and I were out to capture some climbing photos at this little known climbing site near Wakefield, Quebec, Canada. I have used this rocky tower for ice climbing photography many times. It provides some stunning imagery and is beautifully lit in the afternoon - but only in the winter, we discovered!

We climbed to the location only to find the granite columns to be guarded from the summer’s higher sun! We were in full shade - not what I had expected.

With a quick development of a “Creative Plan B” we created the photos here - as silhouettes. They are better than what I had originally hoped for. One of my favourites!This climbing print is printed on canvas.
