The Photo Story:
I needed a rainy day. I wanted a photojournalistic street scene shot from the perspective - and dryness - of my umbrella. The day came and I brought my rig to Ottawa’s hip Elgin Street, home of the ‘Senator’s Mile’. The old man makes this shot for me.

My ‘rig’ was a heavy and cumbersome contraption ensuring my hand and part of the umbrella remained sharp in this motion filled street scene. I added the hint of motion (via the camera, of course) to add some zest to the pic.

The Print:
